M. Neil Ailes, 84, a longtime Arizona City resident, died Aug. 19, 2007 in Phoenix.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande.
Mr. Ailes was born Aug. 16, 1923 in Porter County, Ind. He served in the Navy during World War II. He farmed with his father and brother until 1955. He was a banker for 22-1/2 years in Valparaiso, Ind. After moving to Arizona he worked in real estate for more than 20 years. He lived in Arizona City for 29 years.
He attended Purdue University and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis. He was a 32nd Degree Mason in Porter Lodge 137, a member of Scottish Rite and Kiwanis. He was a member of the Morgan Township school board and Porter County Fair Board for 17 years. He enjoyed travel and especially golf.
Survivors include his wife, Rilla; five children, Steven Ailes, Rebecca Ailes-Fine, Randall Ailes, Kent Ailes and Rilla Hughes; a sister, Margaret Snider; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
