Malinda Faye Cannon

SACATON - Malinda Faye Cannon, 63, died on Aug. 19, 2017, in Sacaton.
Ms. Cannon was born on Dec. 27, 1953, in Sacaton to Roman Cannon and Melissa Stewart. She was known as a loving, caring and understanding person who always helped others when they were in need, often taking people into her home if they needed a place to stay. She loved to bake and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a brother, Roderick Cannon Sr., and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Arlene Kisto, Phyllis Brown, Lucita Cannon and Verna Murrieta.
Wake from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the District 5 Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. Graveside service at 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
