Malorie Annette Miguel

SACATON - Malorie Annette Miguel, 28, died on May 17, 2016, in Chandler.

Ms. Miguel was born on Jan. 5, 1988, in Phoenix to Marvin A. Miguel Jr. and Carmen Robles. She worked as an administrative assistant throughout the Gila River Indian Community and enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and baking.

She loved music and spending time with her family, especially her daughter, whom she loved very much. She was very giving and put family and friends before herself.

Survivors include her mother, of Sacaton; her father, of Sells; her companion, Derek Lewis of Casa Blanca; a daughter, Caiden A. Lewis of Casa Blanca; a brother, Jorge L. Flores of Sacaton; and a sister, Macy Miguel of Covered Wells Village. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Morgan Lewis.

The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in Sacaton East Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the District 3 Service Center.
