Manuel's career revolved around his passion for agriculture, specifically his ownership and operation of a cotton gin in Eloy, Arizona. He poured his heart and soul into this endeavor, contributing to the prosperity of the industry while fostering strong connections with fellow farmers and workers.
Manuel was known for his vibrant personality and captivating storytelling; he delighted in sharing family stories that brought laughter and created cherished memories for everyone fortunate enough to hear them.
Manuel enjoyed camping trips, traveling to new places. His love for the outdoors extended to hunting and fishing. As a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he cheered passionately for his favorite team during every game. Manuel also enjoyed the occasional visits to the casino where he enjoyed testing his luck.
Manuel's proudest accomplishment was raising a loving family. He treasured every moment spent with them, especially with his grandchildren who filled his heart with immeasurable joy. Manuel's devotion to his family extended beyond blood relations; friends became family as he built lifelong relationships grounded in love and support.
Manuel is survived by his children, Jeannette De Luna, Rita Brito, Pascual Cardenas, Victoria Hinojosa, and Manuel Cardenas 21 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Manuel is preceded in death by his wife Eustolia Maria Cardenas, his parents Manuel Cardenas Sr and Juanita Hernandez Cardenas, his brothers Primativo Cardenas and Israel Cardenas.
Services to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Manuel Hernandez Cardenas Jr. Services will be held on November 22, 2023, with Visitation at 10:00 AM, Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Graveside services immediately following at Eloy Memorial Park.
Manuel will forever be remembered as a compassionate and dedicated individual who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. His laughter, stories, and unwavering love for family and friends will continue to resonate with those fortunate enough to have shared in his life's journey.
