Manuel Duarte

Manuel V. Duarte, 91, died on May 1, 2012, at Odyssey Hospice in Tucson, with his family at his side.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 3.
Mr. Duarte was born on Sept. 17, 1920, in the eastern Pinal County mining community of El Rey-Sonora. He was a heavy-equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Adela; two daughters, Edil Duarte Cardenas and Melva Norzagaray of Casa Grande; four sons, Manuel J. Duarte and Jose Duarte Cardenas of Casa Grande, Oscar and Martin Duarte of Phoenix; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
