Manuel Gonzales

Manuel E. Gonzales, 73, of Casa Grande died on April 27, 2015, at home.

The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Pastor Timothy Green officiating. A reception will follow at the Legacy Suites conference room.

Mr. Gonzales was born on Jan. 25, 1942, in Coolidge and was a son of Rosario and Maria Gonzales. He served in the Army and was a bricklayer. He loved to golf, garden and cook. He had many friends and fulfilled his dream of skydiving a couple of years ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Leticia Lujan of Tucson; a son, Micheal Gonzales of Sunnyvale, California; three sisters, Rosie Voigts of Casa Grande, Mary Demitt of Maryland and Rachel Sharp of Mesa; two brothers, Carlos Gonzales of California and Mario Gonzales of San Tan Valley; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Gomez.
