Manuel Gonzalez

ELOY — Manuel Escobar Gonzalez, 21, of Eloy died on Aug. 16, 2011, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Gonzalez was born on Oct. 12, 1989, in Casa Grande. He enjoyed being with family and friends, listening to music and dancing. He enjoyed watching and playing football, and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his parents, Estella R. Escobar of Eloy and Manuel Gonzalez of Vodo, N.M.; a daughter, Maklay Gonzalez of Indio, Calif.; six brothers, Juan Tepuri and Jesus Escobar of Eloy, Jesus, Jose Angel and Johan Gonzalez, all of Vodo, and Manuel S. Gonzalez of Eloy; six sisters, Ruby Olivas of Casa Grande, Alexis Olivas and Magdalena Escobar of Eloy, Maria, Jessica and Joanna Gonzalez, all of Vodo; and grandparents, Rosa Gamino of Eloy, Manuel B. and Guadalupe Gonzalez of Deming, N.M.
