Manuel Higuera, a beloved husband, father, Tata, and cherished member of his family, passed away on July 27, 2024 in Casa Grande, Arizona. He was born on August 14, 1941, in Agua Prieta, Mexico. Throughout his life, Manuel exuded a vibrant personality and found joy in simple pleasures such as watching Dbacks games, cheering for the Mexican and USA soccer teams, dancing to music, cracking jokes and sharing moments with loved ones.
Manuel's proudest accomplishments revolved around his role as a devoted family man. He shared a deep bond with his wife, Alicia Higuera, and was a source of laughter and dance for his children and surviving members of his family Carmen Meija, Sylvia Celis, Rowena Higuera, Melisa Higuera, along with his 12 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. His presence brought light and happiness to his family, Manuel's humor was infectious, filling the hearts of those around him with joy and laughter.
Manuel is preceded in death by his wife Alicia Higuera; Granddaughter Vanessa Lopez; father Jesus Higuera; mother Amada Grijalva; two brothers; and four sisters. While mourning the loss of Manuel's physical presence, his surviving family finds solace in the memories of a man who valued family above all else.
Manuel Higuera's legacy of love, laughter, and genuine connections will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that his spirit continues to dance through the lives he touched.
