ELOY - Manuel Orosco Longoria, 40, of Mesa died on Jan. 14, 2014, in Eloy.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Longoria was born on Sept. 20, 1973, in Casa Grande. He was a tow truck driver and sometimes was called the "Michael Jordan of Impound" and his family’s "Superman." He liked the Chicago Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks as well as the Oakland A’s.
Survivors include his companion, Lynnette Casey; three sons, Manuel O. Longoria Jr. and Christian D. Longoria of Casa Grande and Anthony M. Longoria of Chandler; four daughters, Tatyanna M. Longoria of Chandler, Peyton C., Tarah A. and Kaitlynn R. Longoria, all of Mesa; three brothers, Ruben and David Amaral of Phoenix and Sylvester Longoria Jr. of Eloy; six sisters, Barbara Manford, Martha Shelly and Anna Coronado, all of Casa Grande, Anna Garza and Diana Cabello of Picacho and Sara Contreras of Antioch, Calif.; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Mercy Longoria; a son, Manuel J. Longoria; four brothers, Robert Amaral, Tito, Hector and Juan Longoria; and two sisters, Yolanda Amaral and Julia Castillo.
