Manuel Montijo

ELOY - Manuel Montijo, 80, of Eloy died on Dec. 3, 2014, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Zion Church in Eloy, with Pastor David Urquides officiating.

Mr. Montijo was born on Sept. 23, 1934, in Coolidge and was a son of Joaquin and Engracia Montijo. He was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed talking about God with family and friends and spending time with them.

Survivors include a daughter, Margie Montijo of California, and a son, Albert Cornejo of Gilbert. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rita Urquides, Emilia Hernandez and Hortencia Rodriguez, and two brothers, Joaquin and Jose Montijo.
