Manuel Orozco Ortiz

Manuel Orozco Ortiz, 87, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 2, 2014, at Hospice of Arizona.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. The funeral will be Saturday in Mexico. Burial will be in Rancho el Salitre, Cienega de Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Mr. Ortiz was born there on June 17, 1927. He was a farmworker all his life and came to Casa Grande in 1969. He was passionate about his work and devoted to his family. He loved to garden.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Eva R.; three daughters, Lucita and Guadalupe Gonzalez of Casa Grande and Mayra Ortiz of Midland, Texas; two sons, Gustavo Gonzalez of Casa Grande and Tony Ortiz of Midland; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Cipriano "Tony" Ortiz Ruiz.
