Manuel Tapia III
Manuel Tony “Menito” Tapia III, 27, of Casa Grande died on July 16, 2010, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God, with the Rev. M.L. Shreffler and Joe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Tapia was born on March 27, 1983, in Florence. He was a mechanic at Rinker Materials. He was an Oakland Raiders fan and loved spending time with his son. He loved practical jokes, dancing, listening to music, family gatherings and barbecues. He was a hard worker and enjoyed weightlifting, going to movies, playing video games and life itself. He was very social and always made new friends.
Survivors include a son, Manuel Angel Tapia of Eloy; his parents, Marie C. and Manuel A. Tapia Jr. of Casa Grande; a brother, Eric D. Tapia of Casa Grande; a sister, Cynthia P. Tapia of Casa Grande; and grandparents, Terry C. Tapia of Casa Grande, Betty V. Jermeay of Coolidge and Ruben C. Licano of Miami. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Manuel H. Tapia.
