Manuel Tellez

ELOY - Manuel Rivera Tellez, 58, of Eloy died on Aug. 15, 2014, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Tellez was born on July 22, 1956, in Pecos, Texas. He was a welder, was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include five sons, Manuel Martinez and Jesus Tellez of Casa Grande, Jose M. Tellez Jr. and Martin Tellez of Eloy and Jorge Tellez of Queen Creek; three daughters, Guadalupe and Lorena Tellez of Eloy and Leticia Tellez of Coolidge; a brother, Jose Jimenez of Phoenix; five sisters, July Tarango, Rosa Martinez, Marina, Norma and Armida Jimenez, all of Eloy; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Hernandez, and his parents, Esequiel Tellez and Alejandra Rivera.
