Marcos Munoz, 88, of Casa Grande died on March 2, 2014, at home.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30.
Mr. Munoz was born on March 16, 1925, in Gillett, Texas, and was a son of Edward and Estefana Munoz. He was a military veteran who was devoted to his family and loved to dance, fish and watch cowboy movies. He worked at Arizona State Prison as a corrections officer and sergeant and retired after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife and love of his life, Maria; three daughters, Rosa Ferguson of Casa Grande, Hope M. Daniels of Avondale and Gloria A. Holland of Gilbert; two brothers, Jose Munoz of Colorado and Edward Munoz of Texas; four sisters, Eva Wier of Casa Grande, Natalia Hernandez, Blanca Maeso and Ninfa Greve, all of Texas; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Munoz; three brothers; and three sisters.
