Marcos L. Celaya

Marcos L. Celaya Jr., 37, of Casa Grande died on April 24, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley Dobson House in Chandler.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Celaya was born on Dec. 2, 1977, in Casa Grande. He was a forklift operator and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He enjoyed travel and being outdoors and was very outgoing, adventurous and friendly. He was curious and always tried new things. He had a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Scottsdale and enjoyed working on and looking at classic cars.

Survivors include his parents, Sulema L. and Marcos Celaya Sr. of Casa Grande; his fiancee, Mercedes Garcia of Casa Grande; four sisters, Angie and Diana Celaya, Virginia C. Bustamante and Linda Salazar, all of Casa Grande; and a brother, Gilbert Celaya of Casa Grande.
