Margaret A. Farrell, 64, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 9, 2015.
Mrs. Farrell was born on Dec. 8, 1950, in Chicago and was a daughter of Alois D. Ziemba and Mary Stiller. She was cafeteria manager at Palo Verde Elementary School before retirement and was known as the "Lunch Lady" by many students. She enjoyed rustic camping with her husband, the quiet of the outdoors and taking in the beauty of local wildlife. She enjoyed watching birds in whatever they were doing.
She loved to travel but liked to go off the beaten path, and she enjoyed occasional trips to the casinos. She was a great cook and loved gardening, and she was a loving wife, a kind, sweet person and a good friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Charles M.; a son, Matthew Padgett of Texas; two stepdaughters, Jessica Farrell of Casa Grande and Sydney Ryan of Lindenhurst, Illinois; a brother, Robert Ziemba of Trussville, Alabama; a sister, Catherine M. Ziemba of Casa Grande; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Hill.
A celebration of life luncheon will be at noon Sept. 26 at Golden Corral.
