FLORENCE - Margaret Ann Brady, 69, a Florence resident and native, died peacefully on Jan. 4, 2014, in Gilbert.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Jose Corvera. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.
Ms. Brady was born on Nov. 14, 1944, and was a daughter of Richard J. and Carrie R. Brady. She grew up in Florence and became a longtime X-ray technician. She started her career at Pinal General Hospital, which became Central Arizona Medical Center. After it closed she worked about five years in Lake Havasu City, then in the Payson and Globe hospitals. When Florence Community Healthcare opened, she returned to Florence and finished her career.
While she enjoyed her medical work, she met many friends and touched many lives. She was known for her compassion and kindness and enjoyed spending quality time with her family and traveling.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia McKinley of Florence and Meggan Brady of Phoenix; two sons, John and Richard Granillo of Florence; a sister, Barbara Brady Moraga of Florence; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Travis and Truett Brady, and two sisters, Billie McKellan and Mary Lou Maynard.
