Margaret Long

Margaret Long, 81, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 11, 2012, at home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady, Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 2915 E. 36th St. in Tucson. Burial will be in East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road in Tucson.
Mrs. Long was born on March 19, 1930, in Detroit and was a daughter of Charles and Mary Meyer. She was a registered nurse and worked at Southern Arizona VA Medical Center in Tucson for 30 years. She was kindhearted and devoted to her family. She loved University of Arizona sports, especially basketball.
Survivors include four sons, Martin Chapman of Casa Grande, Mike and Tim Chapman and William Long, all of Tucson; two daughters, Mary Cruz and Angelia Trebon of Tucson; two brothers, Charles Meyer of New York and Robert Meyer of Florida; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Long.
Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Hospital or Valley Humane Society.
