Margaret was born to Herman and Rosie Lee Boykin in Bragg City, Missouri. She was the 7th child of 8 children. In 1958 after her mother's death her family moved to Eloy, Arizona. She grew up and attended school in Eloy and was a 1967 Santa Cruz Valley Union high school graduate. In 1991 Margaret moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Margaret loved to cook it was her passion so at 43 years old she decided to enroll in culinary school where she received an associate's degree in culinary arts. Another great achievement for Margaret was writing and getting her book published in 2013 entitled "Call this baby Margaret Marie... My Life, My Love, Words That Heal." The book was a collection of short stories and poems based on her life and growing up in the Eloy,AZ area. Margaret was a proud mother of 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Margaret passed away on January 10, 2020 at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
She is survived by a son Ronald Boykin of Phoenix,AZ , A daughter Bernae Boykin Hitesman (Kevin) of Arizona City, AZ, Two Granddaughters Rain Marie Robertson of Atlanta,GA, Micaela Camille Hitesman of Arizona City,AZ and one Grandson Kaelib Isaiah David Hitesman of Arizona City, AZ. She was proceeded in death by her parents,two brothers, three sisters, and her beloved daughter Renita Rochelle Robertson. There are no services planned
