Margie Dunn

ELOY - Margie Dunn, 90, of Eloy died on March 11, 2014.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Westside Church of God in Christ. The funeral will follow at 11, with the Rev. R.B. Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dunn was born on April 12, 1923, in Alto, Texas, to Norvell and Jennie McKaney. She was united with the church at an early age, and her relationship with Christ grew as she gave her best to the Master. She moved to other parts of Texas and also lived in New Mexico and California.

After her husband’s death she moved to Lubbock, Texas, and became a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She met and married the Rev. Alonzo L. Dunn. She was a homemaker and ministered at a hospital. After her second husband’s death she moved to Eloy, where she made candy, ministered at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center and brought joy to those around her.

Survivors include three sisters, Opal Jackson of Los Angeles, Mary Harris of Lubbock and Zoina Mae Gant of Eloy, and many nieces and nephews.
