Maria Arriola

Maria “Meme” Arriola, 81, of Casa Grande died on March 14, 2022.

Mrs. Arriola was born on Sept. 1, 1940, in Sierra Juarez, Mexico, to Feliciano and Concepcion Perez. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.

She enjoyed flowers and loved spending time in her garden. She also had a lot of chile plants and used them to feed her family with fresh salsa. She had a pet turtle and enjoyed spending time with it.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roberto; six daughters and sons, Anabel Bevan, Abel, Maria M. and Eva Arriola, Elizabeth Angulo and David Arriola; two siblings, Ramon and Angel Perez; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nohemi Arriola, and six siblings.

Visitation and service beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
