Maria Belen Patena

ELOY - Maria Belen Patena, 30, of Eloy died Jan. 25, 2009 at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix.


Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Centro Cristiano. The funeral there will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Jose Rigoberto Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Patena was born April 18, 1978 in Mexico. She was a waitress. She loved her children and spending time with her family. She also loved riding motorcycles, growing roses and tending to her birds.

Survivors include her husband, Natividad; three sons, Eric Ortiz, Anai and Isai Patena, all of Eloy; her parents, Fulgencio and Rafaela Ortiz of Mexico; a brother, Dario Ortiz of Houston; and two sisters, Aurora Patena of Yuma and Leticia Ortiz of Avalon, Calif.
