After retiring, she did something she had always wanted to do…bought a motor home and she and her husband traveled the United States, stopping at times to visit family in Alabama and Georgia. They had long stays at various KOA camps, from Florida to Montana, where she made many friends along the way. She loved Montana and would have stay there as long as they could until they had to come back to Arizona. She loved God and she loved her country. Marie also loved to sew, crochet, needlepoint…if it involved thread, yarn or material she loved it. At any given time when she was able, she would have some type of project going on, whether it be for family or friends. She loved giving to others.
