COOLIDGE — Maria Coronado Rojas, 75, of Coolidge died on March 4, 2010.
Visitation and rosary will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 by the Rev. Marco Basulto. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Ms. Rojas was born on Sept. 22, 1934 in Coolidge and was a daughter of Panfilo H. and Rosa Coronado. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She was Catholic. She loved listening to country and Spanish music.
Survivors include a son, Pete C. Martinez Sr. of Eloy; four sisters, Petra C. Madrid of Odessa, Texas, Mercy Rodriguez of Bakersfield, Calif., Matilda Renteria and Christina Yucupicio of Casa Grande; a brother, Panfilo G. “Johnny” Coronado of Bakersfield; four grandsons; and four great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernardo G. Coronado.
