Maria D. Dominguez

PICACHO - Maria D. Dominguez, 73, of Picacho died on May 3, 2014, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Ms. Dominguez was born on May 12, 1940, in Mexico and was a daughter of Marciano Dominguez and Maria Medellin. She was a caregiver in the health care field and was a woman of strong qualities and a great friend to those who knew her. She enjoyed home life and having friends over, and she gave good advice.

Survivors include two daughters, Martina I. Black of Casa Grande and Gloria Dominguez of Phoenix; a son, Ramiro Dominguez of Eloy; her life companion, Arnoldo Corrales Mendoza; four sisters, Teresa Rodriguez, Rafaela Casas, Juana Olivas and Petra Ontiveros, all of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Ramon and Hector Casas of El Paso; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Armando Dominguez.
