Maria Esther Rodriguez

CASA GRANDE - Maria Esther Rodriguez, 88, of Casa Grande died at home on Oct. 1, 2016.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on Jan. 27, 1928, in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, to Arnulfo and Maria Lumbreras.

She is survived by four adult children, Martin Rodriguez Jr., Rosie Lewis, Guillermo "Willie" and Jesus Rodriguez; a brother, Ignacio "Nacho" Lumbreras; a sister, Rosa Maria Alonzo; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; two brothers, Arnulfo Lumbreras Jr. and Hector Lumbreras; and two sisters, Luz Maria "Lucha" and Soccorro Lumbreras.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Alan Valencia. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
