Maria Guadalupe Martinez

CASA GRANDE - Maria Guadalupe Martinez, 59, of Casa Grande died on May 7, 2016.

Mrs. Martinez was born on Dec. 26, 1956, in Casa Grande to Ramon and Maria Elenia Tellez. She loved to laugh, dance, cook, bake and tell dirty jokes and was very committed to her family.

Very outgoing and free-spirited, she loved going to casinos, listening to all kinds of music and spending time with her grandkids and pets. She was very religious and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Michael; eight daughters and sons, Senia Soliz of Casa Grande, Manuel Soliz of Buckeye, Bartholomew and Nicole Miller of Casa Grande, Dalaynea Hernandez of Guadalupe, Michael D. Martinez of Chandler, Angela Martinez of Tempe and Kayla Martinez of Ahwatukee; a sister, Sue Tellez of Casa Grande; her parents, of Casa Grande; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St Anthony’s Church, with rosary recited at noon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 by the Rev. Alan Valencia. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
