Maria D. Jáquez was born on July 25, 1947, in Casa Grande, AZ. She lived all her life in Eloy, AZ. She married the love of her life Jose Jáquez and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Maria's devotion to her Catholic faith shone brightly through her daily life. She found peace in prayer and solace in attending church services regularly. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light for all who knew her.
One of her favorite pastimes was visiting with her sisters, which she loved dearly. Maria enjoyed shopping and cooking. Entering her home there was always a home cooked meal ready to share. Everyone knew they were always welcome. She was the best wife, mother, and nana ever! Maria had an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful smile to go along with it. She made her whole family laugh with her silly sayings. She was very witty and would give family members nicknames that would last a lifetime. She was a caregiver throughout the years to numerous family members.
On April 11th, 2024, surrounded by family - whom she treasured above all else - Maria peacefully transitioned into the Kingdom of God. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
