Maria Jesus "Chita" Peralta

Maria Jesus "Chita" Peralta, 75, of Casa Grande died on March 16, 2014, at Hospice Family Care.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church. The celebration of life will follow at 11, with Pastor Ronelio Guebara officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Peralta was born on July 18, 1938, in Lordsburg, N.M., and was a daughter of Ray Ramirez and Margaret Garcia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed talking on the phone, going to casinos, listening to music, reading the newspaper and socializing with people. She loved to dance when she was younger and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, shopping and going to church on Sundays.

Survivors include six sons, Martin Galvan of Florence, Donnie and Juan L. Rodriguez Sr., Michael, David and Orlando Ramirez, all of Casa Grande; five daughters, Debbie Ochoa and Rosie Fontes of Casa Grande, Velia Ramirez of Eloy, Rachel Ramirez and Anna Tapia of Casa Grande; three brothers, Mike, Tony and Avino Ramirez, all of Phoenix; four sisters, Anita Burrell of Casa Grande, Betty Rivas, Angie Ramirez and Dora Flores, all of Phoenix; 49 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Peralta; a daughter, Patsy Rodriguez; a son, Louie Galvan; and a brother, Ray Ramirez.
