ELOY - Maria Luisa Valenzuela, 82, a homemaker and lifelong resident of Eloy, died on Sept. 13, 2020, while surrounded by her loved ones at home.
Mrs. Valenzuela was born on June 20, 1938, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Esteban Garcia and Maria Dominguez. She married Elias Valenzuela.
She stood strong on her faith in the Lord and attended First United Pentecostal Church in Eloy. She was a devoted mother to her children and a nurturer by nature. She loved her family and friends and spent her time caring for her plants and animals. She was well known and respected by many members in her community.
Survivors include a brother, Lencho Garcia of Mexico; a sister, Mari Garcia Mealy of California; eight sons and daughters, Elias G. Valenzuela, Gloria Valenzuela, Arturo Valenzuela, Armando Valenzuela, Jesus Valenzuela, Francisco Valenzuela and Carmen Valenzuela, all of Arizona, and Grace Rojas of California; 28 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and four children, Victor Valenzuela, Jose Luis Valenzuela, Alfredo Valenzuela and Maria Valenzuela.
Funeral at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, at First United Pentecostal Church in Eloy.
