CASA GRANDE - Maria "Pura" Encinas, 88, died peacefully on April 26, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Encinas was born on Sept. 29, 1928. She had 10 children and was devoted to her family. The role she loved most was being "Nana" to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for her unconditional love, nurturing spirit and words of wisdom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fidencio; a son, Richard Encinas; and two grandchildren, Angela Bosquez and Manuel Encinas Jr.

Graveside service at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12, in Mountain View Cemetery.
