Maria Teresa Zuniga Reyes

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Maria Teresa Zuniga Reyes, who departed this world at the age of 51 on December 31, 2024. Born on April 11, 1973, to Isidro and Teresa Zuniga, Maria was a beacon of love and kindness in the lives of all who knew her.

Maria had a passion for life that she expressed through her dedication to self-care and fitness. She enjoyed indulging in her favorite Chinese cuisine, but nothing brought her greater joy than the time she spent with her family. A devoted mother, Maria found her greatest happiness in her children, Lucio Herrera Zuniga and Jonathan Mario Herrera, cherishing every moment shared and every memory created together.

Her loving spirit will be profoundly missed, and she is remembered fondly by her siblings: Juan Jose, Bulmaro, Demetrio, Jose Rodolfo, Dora Alicia, Isidro, Maria Isabel, Valente, and Benito Zuniga. Maria is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother, Robert Javier Zuniga.

A visitation will be held to celebrate Maria's life on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM, followed by a memorial service on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM, both at Centro Cristiano Emanuel Church. The burial will take place immediately afterward at Eloy Memorial Park.
