Mariah Terresa Gamez, 14, of Casa Grande died on May 24, 2010, at Hospice Family Care after battling cancer for three years.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The celebration of life will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mariah was born on Nov. 21, 1995, in Casa Grande. She attended Stanfield Junior High School. She enjoyed playing soccer and listening to music. She was a strong person and loved her family, including her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her parents, Clemente and Irma Reyes Gamez of Casa Grande; two brothers, Nicholaus and Clemente Gamez Jr.; two sisters, Marcella and Mercedes Gamez; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen Gamez.
