Maria Veronica Espino Rios

Maria Veronica Espino Rios, 44, of Casa Grande died peacefully on Aug. 6, 2014, surrounded by her family.

Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Ms. Espino Rios was born on Sept. 22, 1969, in Mexico. After graduating from high school, she served in the U.S. Navy. She then returned to Casa Grande and enrolled at Central Arizona College, earning a certificate in child development and becoming a foster parent. Many children were recipients of her dedication and love, and she was an inspiration to many.

She loved to dance and spend time with her friends and family. She was a devout Catholic and a very giving person, donating to various charities and organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Ramon Valencia; three sons, Yvan, Cristian and Dorian Valencia, all of Casa Grande; her mother, Eva Aguirre of Casa Grande; two brothers, Jesus and Victor Espino of Casa Grande; and three sisters, Consuelo Mendoza and Griselda Espino of Casa Grande and Aleyda Espino Chavez of Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Espino.
