Mariaelena Cardenas

COOLIDGE - Maria Elena (Lara) Cardenas, 65, of Coolidge died on June 30, 2014, in Chandler.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 9:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Adolfo Martinez.
Ms. Cardenas was born on Nov. 20, 1948, in Florence. She was a paraprofessional for state government and was very outgoing. She made friends easily and made people laugh. She was very generous, had a great sense of humor and was loyal and devoted to her family. She enjoyed her truck, Mexican music, dancing and going to casinos.
Survivors include two daughters, Alejandra Cardenas of Scottsdale and Leticia Cardenas of Coolidge; her mother, Elena Lara of Coolidge; a brother, David Lara of Phoenix; two sisters, Virginia Ceniseros of Tucson and Olivia Marin of Peoria; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Domingo Lara.
