Mariana Valencia Gonzales, 85, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 14, 2014, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. A scripture service there will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Leo Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Ms. Gonzales was born on Aug. 18, 1928, in Nixon, Texas, and was a daughter of Juan and Florencia Delgado. She was a homemaker and loved to listen to Mexican music and dance. She loved her family and took care of and helped raise many. She liked to cook and loved being a grandma.
Survivors include seven sons, Jose Gonzales of Casa Grande, Jesus Gonzales of Phoenix, Gilbert Gonzales of Tucson, Manuel, Thomas, Peter and Sammy Gonzales, all of Phoenix; four daughters, Maria Guerra of Casa Grande, Lupe Corrales of Phoenix, Rosie Bracamonte of Phoenix and Alice Valencia of Texas; 37 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Juan Gonzales; four brothers, Ramon and Merejildo Carrasco, Santos and Angel Delgado; and two sisters, Filomena Delgado and Clara Gaytan.
