Mario Ignacio Muruato

CASA GRANDE - Mario Ignacio Muruato Sr., 54, of Casa Grande died on March 23, 2016, at home.

Mr. Muruato was born on Oct. 28, 1961, in Mexico. He was a calf manager at a dairy and loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching western and animated movies as well as eating omelettes with refried beans and pico de gallo.

Survivors include two sons, Mario Ignacio Muruato Jr. of Arizona City and Danny Muruato of San Tan Valley; a daughter, Daisy Ambriz of Stanfield; his former wife, Irene Muruato of Casa Grande; his parents, Juan de Dios Muruato and Catalina Aguinaga of Mexico; three brothers, Luis R. Muruato of Mexico, Miguel A. and Sergio A. Muruato of Mesa; three sisters, Norma M., Cristina I. and Maria T. Muruato, all of Mexico; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Adam Muruato.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
