Mario Solano Campos, Sr.

Mario Solano Campos Sr., 72, of Maricopa died on July 5, 2022.

Mr. Campos was born in El Paso, Texas, on Jan. 19, 1950, to Victorio Campos and Nicolasa Solano. He was an Army and Vietnam War veteran. A man of few words, he could make people laugh and had a love of sports.
He could fix anything and took pride in maintaining his yard. He was devoted to his family and a tata who loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Olivia; a daughter and three sons, Michelle L. Strother, Mario Jr., Micheal L. and Mark A. Campos; five siblings, Lucy Lopez, Mary, David, Ricky and Johnny Campos; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Celia Rodriguez and Santos S. Campos.

Celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, at Maricopa Veterans Center, 41600 W. Smith-Enke Road.
