Marjorie P. Fain, 84, of Casa Grande died on April 11, 2014, at home.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Pastor Mark Ellington officiating. A gathering will follow at The Gardens.
Mrs. Fain was born on Oct. 4, 1929, in Canby, Minn., and was a daughter of Lawrence and Joyce (Landgraf) Kack. She attended school in Canby and the College of St. Benedict in Minnesota. After college, she married Oliver B. Larson and they had three children. They moved to Casa Grande in 1970, and her husband died in 1985. She taught at Central Arizona College.
In May 1988, she married David Fain. She loved to cook, play golf and bridge, and she organized the City Bridge Marathon for 30 years.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Larry Larson of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Cathy Ash of Phoenix; a brother, Harvey Kack of Brainerd, Minn.; two sisters, Phyllis Daley of Kansas City, Kan., and Alice Tryl of Massachusetts; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband; a son, Gregg Larson; and a grandson, Willie
