Mark Travis Johns

Mark Travis Johns, “Nake” as he was known to many passed away peacefully with his family surrounded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 42. Mark was born on August 23, 1982, in Phoenix, Arizona to Patricia Kisto Newman and the late Brainard Johns.

In addition he leaves behind a stepfather, Ryan Newman Sr. , and a stepmother Michelle Johns. 

Mark was preceded in death by his brother Derek Johns and father Brainard Johns. Mark leaves behind his son Evan Johns, his significant other Melissa Miller, forever remembered with love by seven sisters, Elisha Newman, Megan Aguilar, Heather Lugo, Vanessa Limb, Christina Kisto, Candice Johns, Ashley Macazan, and four brothers, Ryan Newman Jr., Shawn Johns, Terrance Johns, Brainard Johns Jr., and along with numerous nieces and nephews, loving cousins and many cherished extended family members and friends. 

Mark will be remembered for his sense of humor, his kindness and the love of his family. 

A wake service will be held on March 7th, from 6-10pm at the District One Multipurpose Building at 15747 N. Shegoi Rd., Coolidge, AZ (Blackwater)

Funeral services will be held on March 8th, at 7am, at North Blackwater Cemetery, 1359 E. huhukam Rd., Coolidge, AZ (Blackwater)
