Mark Munger

Mark “Emmett” Munger, age 70, passed away Monday, January 31, following a short illness. He was born on September 17, 1951, and lived most of his life in St. Paul, Minnesota. Over the past several years, he lived in Hudson, Wisconsin, and in Casa Grande, Arizona. Mark loved golfing, sitting around a campfire, watching football games and motorcycle riding with his family and friends. He was a decades-long member of the Operating Engineers Local #49. He is survived by those who gratefully shared his life: His beloved wife, Mary; his sons, Jeremy (Brittany) and Dustin (Nikki); brothers Craig (Mary) and Chris; sister Sarah (Andy) Glavan-Brent; three granddaughters, Madison, Grace and Teagan; one grandson Braxtin; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Munger and Barbara Munger; a brother Stephen, and a sister Jill (Jacobs). A small celebration of life for family and close friends will be held May 21 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Mudd Room at 1352 State Highway 13 in Mendota, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers and due to his love of animals, memorials are preferred to any local Humane Society.
