Mark Vernick

Visitation for Mark Shawn Vernick, 32, of Casa Grande will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. The memorial service will be at 4 p.m. at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
Mr. Vernick was born on Jan. 31, 1977 in Clinton, Iowa, and died on Jan. 8, 2010 near Casa Grande of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. He was a nationally registered emergency medical technician and worked for Southwest Ambulance, Pinal County Division. He was a member of International Association of Fire Fighters Local I-60. He loved his work and taking care of dogs and enjoyed reading and writing.
Survivors include his mother, Mary A. Vernick of Lake Forest, Calif.; two brothers, Russ Yeskin of Scottsdale and Chris Muelder of Davis, Calif.; and two sisters, Shelly Vernick of San Francisco and Stacy Muelder of Davis. He was preceded in death by his father, Barry H. Vernick.
