Martha Alicia Ortega

Martha Alicia Ortega, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called to Heaven on Thursday evening, June 18, 2020, at Dignity Chandler Regional Hospital. She was 75 years of age.
She was survived by her husband of 58 years, Guadalupe Ortega, who is 90 years of age, 8 sisters, 6 brothers, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Her children are 4 daughters: Minerva Ortega, Veronica O. Sarver, Sandra Stouffer, and Laura Ortega and 2 sons: Gustavo Ortega and Sergio Ortega.
Martha was an active woman throughout her life, whether it was working outside with her husband or chasing grandchildren around the house. The thing that made her most happy was seeing her family together, gathered around the table and enjoying each other’s company. Her home was usually full of family and food.
Martha will be missed every day for the rest of our lives, but as she has taught our family to do in hard times; we will look to God in our grief and know that she has gone home. Though the best of our family has gone, we will try to emulate what she was and hold her in our hearts, until we meet again.
