Martha Lynn Losee

Martha {Marty} Lynn Losee, 73, passed away peacefully May 31, 2022 at her home in Arizona City, AZ with family by her side. Marty was born January 14, 1949 in Mason City, Iowa to Benny Pete and Marlus Jean (Weaver) Kramer. She was raised in Mason City and graduated from the Mason City High School. On May 25, 1968 Marty married the love of her life, Jon Losee, in Mason City, IA. They made their first home together in Cedar Rapids, IA, and later moved to Dallas Center, IA; Eagle, CO; and Hood River, OR where they raised their family. Marty and Jon were blessed with sons Shane (Jodi) Losee, Hood River, OR and Christopher (Tricia) Losee, Mosier, OR. Further blessings were grandsons Greyson and Keegan, and granddaughter Makenna.

Marty worked as an Optometrist's Assistant in Hood River. After retirement Marty and Jon split their time between Hood River, OR and Arizona City, AZ. Marty enjoyed golf, the ocean, spending time in her pool, exploring new places, playing games and cards, spending time with friends, and a good glass of wine (or two). There was nothing Marty did that she couldn't have fun with and make everyone around her have fun as well. She could make friends almost in the blink of an eye. But the thing she loved most of all was the time she spent with her family. She loved going to her grandkids' school events and ball games.

Marty is survived by her husband Jon; their children and grandchildren; siblings Kim Kramer of Allen, TX, Mark (Becky) Kramer of Mason City, IA, Darcy Kramer of Arizona City, AZ, Trina Kramer of Savage, MN, and Mary (Mark) Milton of Madison Lake, MN; brother-in-law Ralph (Marge) Losee of Alexandria, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Marty in death were her parents; in-laws Lester H and Martha Losee; brother in-law Lester K Losee; sister-in-laws Martha Gazaway and Karal Potter.

The family will hold Celebrations of Life at a later time. Memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospitals or Hospice of the Valley.
