Martha Zaragoza

ELOY — Martha Zaragoza, 97, of Eloy died on May 7, 2011, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9:30 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Charles Cloud. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Zaragoza was born on Dec. 2, 1913, in Florence. She was very strong and independent. Her joy was in being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was a very friendly, loving and caring person.
Survivors include two daughters, Stella Barajas of Soledad, Calif., and Juanita Zaragoza of Eloy; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan, and three sons, Amos, Arthur and John Zaragoza Jr.
