Martina Escalante

SANTAN — Martina Escalante, 49, died on Dec. 30, 2009 in Gilbert.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Gregory Rice. Burial will be in Lower Santan Cemetery.
Ms. Escalante was born on March 17, 1960 in Winterhaven, Calif. She was a homemaker and was kind and generous to friends and family, which was always her primary interest.
Survivors include her companion, Lawrence Allison; her mother, Juanita Escalante of Coolidge; two sons, Daniel and Lawrence Allison II of Santan; and a brother, Dana Escalante of Vancouver, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo C. Escalante Sr.; a brother, Alonzo C. Escalante; and three sisters, Varena and Dru Escalante and Suenell Burress.
