Martinez Joseph Lyons

CASA BLANCA - Martinez Joseph Lyons, 26, died on June 12, 2017, in Mesa.

Mr. Lyons was born on April 12, 1991, in Phoenix to Marvin R. Lyons and Willa Thomas. He attended Gila River and Tucson high schools, played saxophone and loved drawing and other artwork. He was known for his sense of humor and always could make others laugh.

Survivors include two sisters, Wilane Thomas and Marvana Lyons, and a brother, Garin P. Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Calvin Lyons.

Visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at the District 5 Multipurpose Building. Graveside service at 6 a.m. Thursday, June 22, in Sacate Cemetery.
