Marvin Blackwater

BLACKWATER — Marvin D. Blackwater Jr., 49, of Blackwater died on Aug. 12, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Blackwater Veterans Memorial Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Mission by the Rev. Dale Jamison. Burial will be in West Blackwater Cemetery.
Mr. Blackwater was born on June 1, 1963, in Sacaton. He was a construction worker and a hardworking, easygoing, laid-back person who went out of his way to help others. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to the radio and doing yard work as well as spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Carmelita Kisto-Marrietta and Jasper Marrietta Sr. of Blackwater; two sisters, Connie Blackwater-Hogg of Coolidge and Mary Cruz of Blackwater; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin D. Blackwater Sr.
