Mary Alicia (Fernandez) Buttery

CASA GRANDE - Mary Alicia (Fernandez) Buttery, 63, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 20, 2017, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Buttery was born in Casa Grande on June 27, 1954, to John M. and Alicia (Garcia) Fernandez. She was a kind woman who cared for everyone she knew. She worked for 16 years in the attendance office of the old Casa Grande Union High School.
She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren, and was known for her personality.
She is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, Kevin; a daughter, Vanessa Uribe; three siblings, Richard Fernandez, Polo Fernandez Sr. and Billie Reese; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Johnny G. Fernandez.
Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Rosary recited at 9:30 and funeral Mass following, celebrated by the Rev. Alan Valencia.
