Services, 525 N. Peart Rd.,
Casa Grande, AZ 85122.
Mary Ann Ison (79) of
Casa Grande, Arizona passed
away peacefully December
18, 2017 surrounded by her
loving family. Some places
Mary worked were Superior
Rotary Tools (Dayton,
Ohio), Micron Mobile Home
factory; and the Casa Grande
Dispatch. Mary was known
as the "Elephant Lady" to
family and friends across the
country. She was an avid crocheter,
and spent many years
after retirement producing
hundreds of baby blankets to
be donated to new parents in
Casa Grande. Mary was born
in 1938 to Walter and Ellen
Barton in Dayton, Ohio. She
was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Lenville
"Berl" Ison; and her sister,
Rosella Brown. Mary is
survived by her daughters,
Robin Leann Schlatter, Miyra
Ann Ison, Lynda Bernice
Nelson and Sherry Lynn Anderson;
her sister, Della Lee
Bradford; six grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren
